Sobral Collection

The pieces that open the brand bring together fine hardwood, tiles from the artist Heberth Sobral's own series, and spheres turned in Roxinho — a Brazilian purple hardwood, known abroad as purpleheart — the signature element that repeats through the series and identifies it. The artist's repertoire and Mattera Lab's drawing meet in six objects that state what the brand proposes as a laboratory: limited edition when the gesture calls for it, continuity when the object proves itself.

A collaboration between the artist Heberth Sobral and Mattera Lab, with the participation of Galeria Matias Brotas. Limited, numbered series, made to order, for interior use, 2026. Every piece carries a copper identification plate: piece no. ___ of N · carries an original work signed by Heberth Sobral, Fragmentos series.

Sobral Tray S

Rectangular tray in solid wood, with spherical purpleheart handles and a base lined with tiles from the Fragmentos series. The small version, made for serving and for composing on a console.

Sobral Tray M

Sobral Tray L

Sobral Console

Care

Solid wood: keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources; clean with a slightly damp cloth and treat with a wood-specific oil every 6 months. Encaustic cement tile: clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth, with no acidic or abrasive products.
